Breitling’s versatile timepiece for every endeavor. The Chronomat holds a significant position in Breitling’s rich history. Introduced in 1984, amidst an era dominated by extra-thin quartz watches, Breitling made a bold move by presenting a strikingly proportioned mechanical timepiece. Stemming from the Frecce Tricolori chronograph, which was developed and launched in 1983 in partnership with the renowned Italian aerial squadron, the Chronomat commemorated Breitling’s centennial with flair and reinstated the mechanical chronograph to its rightful prominence at the brand, which had established its global renown on these remarkable timepieces. Offered in various materials, including stainless steel and 18k red gold, the Chronomat boasts a 42 mm case and the iconic bezel adorned with four rider tabs. Available with dials in black, blue, silver, and copper hues, the Chronomat is complemented by the distinctive “Rouleaux” bracelet and is driven by the in-house Breitling Manufacture Calibre 01, a COSC-certified chronometer.
